Education: Mrs. Vahl holds a two degrees; one in Piano Performance and a
second degree in Music Education from Pillsbury Baptist Bible College. She
studied German as a minor in college and spent two summers serving as a student
missionary in Bad Tolz and Munich, Germany
Versatility: in teaching beginning, intermediate, and advanced students
Experience: in classroom teaching, choir, band, orchestra, as well as private studio teaching for 37 years.
Service: Marcia served the Minnesota Music Teachers Association as the Vice President of Piano Contests from 2006-2010, Technology Chair for MMTA, is the current Chair of the MMTA Judge Education and Certification Committee, President and Founder of Northwest Suburban Music Teachers Association, and mentor to new members of MMTA. She has given presentations on Motivation, Building A Website for Piano Teachers in the 2009 MMTA Studio Management and Business Seminar, and Teaching Artistry From The Beginning.
